Shou-Ling WU, MD, PhD, Chief Physician, Professor and Master Instructor

He is the director of Occupational Health and Preventive Screening Center of Kailuan (Group) Co. Ltd, and the principal investigator of the Kailuan study. Dr. Wu serves on editorial board of Chinese Journal of Hypertension, Chinese Journal of Preventive Medicine and China Journal of Emergency Resuscitation and Disaster Medicine. He has served on committee of Chinese Medical Doctor Association and committee of China Hypertension Alliance. Since 1999, Wu has been engaged in basic and clinical research on hypertension and cardiovascular diseases. Wu has published 300 original articles in English journals, 100 original articles in Chinese journals, and over 20 books. Dr. Wu now serves as PI for 3 national key research programs, 1 provincial key research program and 1 Tangshan city science and technology project. He has trained 47 master students and 1 PhD student.
