RESEARCH INTEREST
Our Laboratory is engaged in systematic genetic and genomic studies to elucidate the molecular foundation of pluripotent stem cell fate decisions, with particular interest in cardiovascular lineage commitment from pluripotent stem cells, and ultimately, to manipulate cardiovascular cell fates in development and diseases based on those uncovered principles. Our major focus is the roles of epigenetic regulation in those processes. The range of ongoing projects in our laboratory are related to the molecular basis of epigenetic regulation in cardiovascular cell fate decisions, the involvement of dysregulated epigenetic factors in cardiovascular diseases, and high-throughput sequencing to identify potential regulators in cardiovascular development and diseases.
KEY WORDS
