Shao-Ping NIE, MD, PhD, FACC, FESC, FSCAI
Shao-Ping NIE is Director of Center for Coronary Artery Disease, Deputy Director of Center for Cardiovascular Diseases, Chief Physician and Pprofessor of Medicine at Beijing Anzhen Hospital Affiliated to Capital Medical University of China. He is also Vice Dean of the Faculty of Cardiovascular Medicine and Director of the Cardiovascular Comorbidity Diagnosis and Research Center of Capital Medical University. He is a member of the Cardiovascular Branch of the Chinese Medical Association, a member of the Standing Committee of the Cardiovascular Medicine Branch of the Chinese Medical Doctor Association, Vice Chairman of the Cardiovascular Branch of the Beijing Medical Association, Vice President of Beijing Heart Society, Executive Chairman of Great Wall Cardiology International Conference (GWCC), Executive Chairman of Coronary Heart Disease Interdisciplinary and Interventional Therapy Conference (CMIT) and Chairman of China Pulmonary Embolism Treatment Team (PERT) Consortium. Dr. Nie's research interests include acute coronary syndromes, interventional cardiology and obstructive sleep apnea, he is the PI for RIGHT, RESTORE, and several other trials. He has authored or co-authored over 500 publications. In 2019, he was awarded the first prize of scientific and technological progress by the Beijing Municipal People's Government.
